The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 664 (#Ḥadīth #10)

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ الْعَاقُولِیُّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ زِیَادٍ الْعَبْدِیِّ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع قَالَ: لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مُوسَی بْنَ عِمْرَانَ کَلَّمَهُ عَلَی طُورِ سِینَا ثُمَّ اطَّلَعَ عَلَی الْأَرْضِ اطِّلَاعَهً فَخَلَقَ مِنْ نُورِ وَجْهِهِ الْعَقِیقَ ثُمَّ قَالَ آلَیْتُ بِنَفْسِی عَلَی نَفْسِی أَلَّا أُعَذِّبَ کَفَّ لَابِسِهِ إِذَا تَوَلَّی عَلِیّاً بِالنَّارِ.

10. My father said: it was narrated to me by al-Hassan b. Ali al-Aqooli from Ahmad b. Harun al-’Attar from Ziyad al-’Abdi from Musa b. Ja’far from his father Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father Muhammad b. Ali from his father Ali b. al-Hussain from his father al-Hussain b. Ali who said: ‘I swear by Myself, I have made it obligatory on Myself that I will never punish with fire (of Hell) one who wears cornelian in his hand and is the lover of Ali .”
