Chapter 391 | Reward of loving, building mosques and repenting at dawn for the sake of Allah

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ الْکُوفِیُّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِیرَهِ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ یُصِیبَ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ بِعَذَابٍ یَقُولُ لَوْ لَا الَّذِینَ یَتَحَابُّونَ فِیَّ وَ یَعْمُرُونَ مَسَاجِدِی وَ یَسْتَغْفِرُونَ بِالْأَسْحَارِ لَوْلَاهُمْ لَأَنْزَلْتُ عَلَیْهِمْ عَذَابِی.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Ali b. al-Hussain al-Kufi from his father from Abdillah b. al-Mughira from al-Sakuni from Ja’far b. Muhammad from his forefathers who said: “But for those who love each other, build mosques and repent at dawn, I would surely have chastised the people of the earth.”
