The Rewards & Punishments of Deeds · Hadith 688 (#Ḥadīth #1)

حَدَّثَنِی حَمْزَهُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ رَفَعَهُ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ: قَالَتْ لَهُ [أُمُ] سَلَمَهَ رض بِأَبِی أَنْتَ وَ أُمِّی یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الْمَرْأَهُ یَکُونُ لَهَا زَوْجَانِ فَیَمُوتَانِ فَیَدْخُلَانِ الْجَنَّهَ لِأَیِّهِمَا تَکُونُ فَقَالَ النَّبِیُّ ص تَخَیَّرُ أَحْسَنَهُمَا خُلُقاً وَ خَیْرَهُمَا لِأَهْلِهِ یَا أُمَّ سَلَمَهَ إِنَّ حُسْنَ الْخُلُقِ ذَهَبَ بِخَیْرِ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ.

1. It was narrated to me by Hamzah b. Muhammad who said I was informed by Ali b. Ibrahim from his father Ibrahim b. Hashim from Musa b. Ibrahim who raised it to The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) who said: “The woman will live with one who had a better character and behavior with the people around him. O Umme Salma! Good character grants good rewards in this world and the hereafter.”
