Chapter 416 | Reward of giving Sadaqah on Friday
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الواشی [الْوَابِشِیُ] وَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُکَیْرٍ وَ غَیْرُهُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: کَانَ أَبِی ع أَقَلَّ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ مَالًا وَ أَعْظَمَهُمْ مَؤُنَهً قَالَ وَ کَانَ یَتَصَدَّقُ کُلَّ جُمُعَهٍ بِدِینَارٍ وَ کَانَ یَقُولُ الصَّدَقَهُ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ تُضَاعَفُ لِفَضْلِ الْجُمُعَهِ عَلَی غَیْرِهِ مِنَ الْأَیَّامِ.
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “My father was having less money and had more expenses then too he used to give Sadaqah every Friday. He used to say that the reward of Sadaqah on Friday is two-fold, for Friday is better than all other days.”
