Chapter 43 | Reward of washing head with Jujube (Beri) leaves

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنْ عِیسَی بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَلَوِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص اغْتَمَّ فَأَمَرَهُ جَبْرَئِیلُ ع أَنْ یَغْسِلَ رَأْسَهُ بِالسِّدْرِ.

2. It is narrated from Isa bin Abdullah Alawi who has narrated from his father and he in turn from his father that when the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) used to be sad, Jibraeel used to come to him and say, “Do wash your head with jujube leaves.”
