Chapter 9 | Punishment of enmity with Amirul Momineen and denying or doubting his Wilayat

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِیرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْنَا أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع یَقُولُ إِنَّ عَدُوَّ عَلِیٍّ ع لَا یَخْرُجُ مِنَ الدُّنْیَا حَتَّی یَجْرَعَ جُرْعَهً مِنَ الْجَحِیمِ وَ قَالَ سَوَاءٌ عَلَی مَنْ خَالَفَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ صَلَّی أَمْ صَامَ.

17. It is narrated that Imam Muhammad Baqir said, “As soon as the enemy of Ali passes away from this world, he is made to drink a gulp of the boiling water of Hell. For one who is inimical to Ali there is no difference whether he is a worshipper or a fornicator.”
