أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع الْعِزُّ رِدَاءُ اللَّهِ وَ الْکِبْرِیَاءُ إِزَارُهُ فَمَنْ تَنَاوَلَ شَیْئاً مِنْهُ أَکَبَّهُ اللَّهُ فِی جَهَنَّمَ.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates that Imam Muhammad Baqir said, “Honor is the dress of God (suitable only for Allah) and pride is the dress of those who run to get honor and they are hung in Hell by Allah.”
