Chapter 48 | Reward of applying Antimony (Surma)

حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ حَمْزَهَ بْنِ بَزِیعٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: الْکُحْلُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ أَمَانٌ مِنَ الْمَاءِ.

3. It was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Muhammad from his father from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Musa b. Ja’far from Musa b. ’Umayra from Hamzah b. Bazee’ from Ishaq b. ’Amir from Abi Abdillah who said: “Applying Antimony before going to bed stops watering of the eyes.”
