Chapter 26 | Punishment of false testimony

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: شَاهِدُ الزُّورِ لَا تَزَالُ قَدَمَاهُ حَتَّی تَجِبَ لَهُ النَّارُ.

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Hisham b. Salim from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who testifies falsely, Hell will be made obligatory for him even before action is taken on his testimony.”
