Chapter 27 | Punishment of taking Allah’s oath falsely
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْقُرَشِیِّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ وَزِیرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ خَالِ حَمَّادٍ الصَّیْرَفِیِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِیَّاکُمْ وَ الْیَمِینَ [الصَّبْرَ] الْفَاجِرَهَ فَإِنَّهَا تَدَعُ الدِّیَارَ بَلَاقِعَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا.
3. Imam Muhammad Baqir narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Keep away from taking false oaths because it causes the cities to become vacant of its residents.”
