Chapter 33 | Punishment of not offering Salaat during its prime time

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْکُوفِیِّ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ سَعِیدِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ أَبِی زِیَادٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لَا یَزَالُ الشَّیْطَانُ هَائِباً لِابْنِ آدَمَ ذَاعِراً مِنْهُ مَا صَلَّی الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ لِوَقْتِهِنَّ فَإِذَا ضَیَّعَهُنَّ اجْتَرَی عَلَیْهِ فَأَدْخَلَهُ فِی الْعَظَائِمِ.

3. Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates from his ancestors that Amirul Momineen relates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Shaitaan fears man as long as he offers five times prayer in its prime time. When the person wastes these Salaat, Shaitaan gets bold and involves that person in greater sins.”
