Chapter 50 | Reward of trimming one’s nails and moustache
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ زَیْدٍ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ قَلَّمَ أَظْفَارَهُ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَهِ أَخْرَجَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ أَنَامِلِهِ الدَّاءَ وَ أَدْخَلَ فِیهَا الدَّوَاءَ.
1. It is narrated by Imam Ja’far Sadiq from his predecessors that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said, “For one who trims his nails on Friday the Almighty Allah would remove pain from his fingers and insert medicine to them.”
