Chapter 36 | Punishment of leaving an obligatory Salaat or considering Salaat unimportant

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَیْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ «ص» مَا بَیْنَ الْکُفْرِ وَ الْإِیمَانِ إِلَّا تَرْکُ الصَّلَاهِ.

2. Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates from his ancestors and Jabir that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “There is no difference between a believer and a disbeliever except for the avoidance of Salaat.”
