Chapter 38 | Punishment of not offering Isha Prayer till midnight

حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحُسَیْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَیْدٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ بَکْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَهَ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَلَکٌ مُوَکَّلٌ یَقُولُ مَنْ نَامَ عَنِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَی نِصْفِ اللَّیْلِ فَلَا أَنَامَ اللَّهُ عَیْنَهُ.

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by al-Hussain b. al-Hassan b. Aban from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from al-Nadhr b. Suwayd from Musa b. Bakr from Zurarah from Abi Ja’far who said: “The appointed angel calls out: May Allah not give sleep to the eyes of those who go to bed without offering Isha Prayer by midnight.”
