Chapter 43 | Punishment of refusing Zakat
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَظِیمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَلَوِیِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: تَارِکُ الزَّکَاهِ وَ قَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ کَمَانِعِهَا وَ قَدْ وَجَبَتْ عَلَیْهِ.
1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid from Abdul-Adheem from Abdillah al-Alawi from al-Hassan b. Ali from some of our companions from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who is needy and does not accept Zakat, is like one on whom Zakat has become obligatory and he is not paying it.”
