Chapter 45 | Punishment of not performing an obligatory Hajj
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَیْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ ع قَالَ کَانَ فِی وَصِیَّهِ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع قَالَ: لَا تَتْرُکُوا حَجَّ بَیْتِ رَبِّکُمْ فَتَهْلِکُوا وَ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَکَ الْحَجَّ لِحَاجَهٍ مِنْ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْیَا لَمْ یقض [تُقْضَ] حَتَّی یَنْظُرَ إِلَی الْمُحَلِّقِینَ.
1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from Abdillah b. Maymun from Abi Abdillah from his father who said it was mentioned in the will of Ameer al-Mumineen who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq narrates from his father that according to a will of Amirul Momineen : Do not leave the Hajj of the House of your Lord else you will be destroyed. One who does not perform the Hajj because of worldly desires, his desires will not be fulfilled until the pilgrims return after shaving their heads (after completing the Hajj rituals).
