Chapter 47 | Punishment of not reciting Surah Tauheed for three days
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْبَطَائِنِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ مَضَتْ لَهُ ثَلَاثَهُ أَیَّامٍ لَمْ یَقْرَأْ فِیهَا قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ فَقَدْ خُذِلَ وَ نَزَعَ رِبْقَهَ الْإِیمَانِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ فَإِنْ مَاتَ فِی هَذِهِ الثَّلَاثَهِ أَیَّامٍ کَانَ کَافِراً بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِیمِ.
1. It is narrated that Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “If three days of a person’s life pass by without reciting Surah Tauheed, he is without a companion. Faith will be taken away from him and if that person dies after these three days, he will die as a disbeliever of Allah, the Greatest.”
