Chapter 50 | Reward of trimming one’s nails and moustache
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص تَقْلِیمُ الْأَظْفَارِ یَمْنَعُ الدَّاءَ الْأَعْظَمَ وَ یَزِیدُ فِی الرِّزْقِ.
4. It is narrated by Imam Ja’far Sadiq from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Trimming nails prevents serious hardships and increases one’s earnings.”
