Chapter 62 | Punishment of repeating the words of a believer in order to expose him

1. My father said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Ali al-Kufi from Muhammad b. Sinan from al-Muffadhal b. Umar from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who repeats the words of a believer with an intention to expose him, insult his personality or reduce his respect among the people, Allah will take away His guardianship and make Shaitaan as his guardian.”

Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
