Chapter 70 | Punishment of betrayal of trust, theft, drinking wine and fornication

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مُدْمِنُ السَّرِقَهِ وَ الزِّنَاءِ وَ الشَّرَابِ کَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ.

10. My father said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Abdul-Jabbar from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Mansur from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah who said: “A person who is involved in fornication, theft and drinking wine is like an idol worshipper.”
