Chapter 70 | Punishment of betrayal of trust, theft, drinking wine and fornication

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْعَمْرَکِیِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا ع إِنَّ ابْنَ دَاوُدَ یَذْکُرُ أَنَّکَ قُلْتَ لَهُ شَارِبُ الْخَمْرِ کَافِرٌ قَالَ صَدَقَ قَدْ قُلْتُ لَهُ.

16. My father said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Ahmad from al-’Amraki who said: The narrator told Imam Ridha , “Ibn Dawud says that you told him: ‘A drunkard is an infidel?” Imam replied, “He is right and I had told him that.”
