Chapter 78 | Punishment of not fulfilling the desire of a believer in spite of being capable of it
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِی جَمِیلَهَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ مَشَی فِی حَاجَهِ أَخِیهِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَ لَمْ یُنَاصِحْهُ فِیهَا کَانَ کَمَنْ خَانَ اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ وَ کَانَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَصْمَهُ.
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq said, “One who goes to fulfill a desire of a believer but does not try his best to fulfill his wish, he is like a person who has been dishonest to Allah and His Messenger. Allah will become his enemy.”
