Chapter 30 | Various Traditions From al-Ridha (s)
30-4 According to the same documentation, it has been narrated on the authority of Al-Ridha (s), on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far (s) that As-Sadiq (s) said, “There are times when one’s sins create a distance between a servant (i.e. a person) and Paradise equal from here to the Throne (of God). However, it may be that he repents of his many sins and cries, fearing the Honorable the Exalted God so much that the distance between him and Paradise becomes less than the distance between the eyelids and the black part of the eyes.”
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
