The Source of Traditions on Imam al-Riḍā (Vol 2) · Hadith 101 (#Ḥadīth #101)

101 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ قالَ: قالَ عَلِىُّ بْنُ أَبِي طالِبٍa.sُ: صلّى بِنا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ صَلاةَ السَّفَرِ، فَقَرَأَ فِي الأُوْلَى الجَحدَ وَفِي الثَّانِيَةَ التَّوحيدَ، ثُمَّ قالَ: قَرَأتُ لَكُمْ ثُلْثَ الْقُرْآنِ وَرُبعَهُ.

31-101 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “God’s Prophet (S) prayed with us while we were on a journey and recited the Chapter ‘Al-Jahd in the first unit and the Chapter ‘Al-Tawhid in the second unit of the prayer and said, ‘I recited a third of the Quran and a fourth of the Qur’an for you.’”
