Chapter 1 | Traditions about Ar-Ridha

31-113 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “Abu Johayfat was belching when he went to see the Prophet (S). The Prophet told him, ‘Stop belching (and eat less). Most people who eat a lot in this world will remain hungry in the Hereafter.’ From then on Abu Johayfat never ate a full meal until he died.”

Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
