120 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ قالَ: قالَ عَلِىُّ بْنُ أَبِي طالِبٍa.sُ: إِنَّهُ لَوْ رَأى العَبْدُ أَجَلَهُ وَسُرعَتَهُ إِلَيْهِ لأَبغَضَ الأَمَلَ، وَتَرَكَ طَلَبَ الدُّنْيا.

31-120 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “If a servant (i.e. a person) could see his death and the speed with which it is approaching him he would hate his aspirations and abandon worldly desires.”
