Chapter 1 | Traditions about Ar-Ridha
31-136 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib said that God’s Prophet (S) told him, “I advise you to eat lentils since they are blessed and holy. They will dilute the blood in the heart and increase the amount of tears. Seventy Prophets ending with Jesus - the son of (the Blessed Lady) Mary - have prayed for their (lentils) being blessed.”
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
