142 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ أَبِي طالِبٍ عَلَيْهِالسَّلامُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ قالَ لِعَلِيٍ a.sُ: عَلَيْكَ بِالمِلحِ، فَإِنَّهُ شِفاءُ مِن سَبْعِينَ داءٌ أَدناهَا الجُذامُ وَالبَرَصُ وَالجُنُونُ.

31-142 According to the same documentation, Ali ibn Abi Talib said that God’s Prophet (S) told Ali , “I advise you to take salt since it is a cure for seventy illnesses, the least of them being insanity, elephantiasis and leprosy.”
