204 - حَدَّثَنا عَلِىِّ بْنِ أَحْمَد بْنِ عِمْران الدَّقَّاق قالَ:حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ هارُون الصوفيّ حَدَّثَني أَبُو تُرابٍ عُبِيْد اللَّه بْنِ مُوسَى الرُّويانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ العَظِيم بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّه الحَسَنِيِّ قالَ: قُلْتُ لابِي جَعْفَر مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِى الرِّضا a.sُ يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَني بِحَدِيث عَنْ آبائِكَ a.sُ فَقالَ أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ آبائِهِ a.sُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ لا يَزالَ النَّاسِ بِخَيرٍ ما تَفاوَتُوا فَإِذا استَوَوا هَلَكُوا.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ لَوْ تَكاشَفتُم ما تَدافَنتُم.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ إِنَّكُم لَنْ تَسعَوا النَّاسِ بِأموالِكُمْ فَسَعُوهُم بِطَلاقَةِ الوَجْهِ وَحُسنِ اللِّقاءِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ يَقُولُ: إِنَّكُُم لَنْ تَسَعُوا النَّاسِ بِأَموالَكُمْ فَسَعُوهُم بِأَخلاقِكُم.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْن رَسُول اللَّهِ، قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ مَن عَتَبَ عَلَى الزَّمان طالَت مَعتَبَتَهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: مُجالَسَةُ الأَشْرارِ تُورِثُ السُّوءَ الظَّنِّ بِالأَخِيارِ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: بِئسَ الزّادُ إِلى المَعادَ العُدوانَ عَلَى العِباد.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُول اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ قيمَةُ كُلِّ امرِئِ ما يُحسِنُهُ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: المَرْءُ مَخبُوءٌ تَحْتَ لِسانِهِ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: ما هَلَكَ امْرُءٌ عَرَفَ قَدرَهُ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائه عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: التَّدبِيرُ قَبْلُ العَمَلُ يُؤمِنُكَ مِنَ النَّدَمِ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: مَن وَثِقَ بِالزَّمانِ صُرِعَ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: خَاطَرَ بِنَفْسِهِ مَنِ استَغنى [بِرَأيِهِ] .قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: قِلَّةُ العِيالِ أَحَدُ اليَسارَينِ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: مَن دَخَلَهُ العُجبُ هَلَكَ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: مَن أَيقَن بِالخَلَفِ جادَ بِالعَطِيَّةِ.قالَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: زِدنِي يا ابْنِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقالَ:حَدَّثَني أَبي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ آبائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ قالَ: قالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنين a.sُ: مَن رَضِيَ بِالعافيَةِ مِمَّنْ دُونَهُ رُزِقَ السَّلامَةَ مِمَّنْ فَوقَهُ.فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: حَسْبِيَ.

31-204 Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Imran ad-Daqqaq narrated that Muhammad ibn Harun al-Sufi quoted on the authority of Abu Torab Ubaydillah ibn Musa Al-Royani, on the authority of Abdul Adheem ibn Abdullah Al-Hassani, “I asked Abi Ja’far Muhammad ibn Ali Ar-Ridha’ , ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Can you narrate a tradition for me on the authority of your forefathers?’ The Imam replied, ‘My father (Imam Ar-Ridha’) narrated on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful (Imam Ali) said, ‘The people will live together in peace until there is a gap created between them. Then they will be ruined.’’”Abdul Adheem ibn Abdullah Al-Hassani added, “I asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Were you informed of each other’s secrets, you would not cover them up.’’Abdul Adheem ibn Abdullah Al-Hassani added, “I asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘You are never able to financially assist to the people. Then at least be pleasant with them when you meet them. I heard God’s Prophet (S) say, ‘You cannot assist the people financially. Then at least assist them by being good-tempered.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever keeps on blaming time will constantly be blamed himself.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ’O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Associating with wicked people will result in having a bad opinion about good people.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Animosity with the good servants of God is a very bad savings for the Hereafter.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘A person’s worth depends on what he does well.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘A person’s personality lies under his tongue.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever recognizes his own worth will never get ruined.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Thinking before acting will guarantee that you will not become sorry.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ’O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever relies on time will fail.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ’O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, “Whoever considers himself needless of seeking advice has endangered himself.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Having a few wives is a form of wealth.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever gets haughty will get ruined.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever is certain that what he gives in charity will be returned to him will be generous.’’Abdul Adheem asked, ‘O son of God’s Prophet (S)! Please tell me more.’The Imam replied, ‘My father narrated on the authority of his grandfathers , on the authority of his forefathers that the Commander of the Faithful said, ‘Whoever is content with remaining secure from his underlings has attained the position of remaining secure from those above him in rank.’’ Abdul Adheem said, ‘That is enough.’”
