The Sufficient (Vol 1) · Hadith 1099 (#Ḥadīth #19)

19ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ سَلامٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالله وَما أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنا قَالَ إِنَّمَا عَنَى بِذَلِكَ عَلِيّاً وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ وَجَرَتْ بَعْدَهُمْ فِي الائِمَّةِ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ الْقَوْلُ مِنَ الله فِي النَّاسِ فَقَالَ فَإِنْ آمَنُوا يَعْنِي النَّاسَ بِمِثْلِ ما آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ وَالائِمَّةَ (عليهم السلم) فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّما هُمْ فِي شِقاقٍ.

19. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Alhossayn ibn Mahbub from Muhammad ibn al-Ni‘man from Salam from abu Ja‘far about the words of Allah, the Most High. “(Muslims), say, “We believe in God and what He has revealed to us. .” The Imam said, “This is primarily addressed to Ali, Fatima, al-Hassan and al-Husayn and thereafter to the Imams . Then the words of Allah “. . If they (refer to people) have faith, in all that you (Ali, Fatima, al-Hassan and al-Husayn believe, they will have the right guidance, but if they turn away, it would be for no reason other than their own malice. . .” (2:137)
