Chapter 108 | Enlightening Points Deduced from the Holy Quran about Leadership with Divine Authority)

25ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ مُنَخَّلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر قَالَ نَزَلَ جَبْرَئِيلُ بِهَذِهِ الايَةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ هَكَذَا بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَنْ يَكْفُرُوا بِما أَنْزَلَ الله فِي عَلِيٍّ بَغْياً.

25. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Barqi from his father Muhammad ibn Sinan from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan from Munakhkhal from Jabir from abu Ja‘far who has said the following. “Jibril brought this verse to Muhammad . “Evil is that for which they have sold their souls: They have refused to accept God’s revelations (about Leadership with Divine Authority of Ali ) in rebellion. .” (2:90)”
