The Sufficient (Vol 1) · Hadith 1134 (#Ḥadīth #54)

54ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنِ الرِّضَا قَالَ قُلْتُ قُلْ بِفَضْلِ الله وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ قَالَ بِوَلايَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ (عَلَيْهم السَّلام) هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُ هَؤُلاءِ مِنْ دُنْيَاهُمْ.

54. Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said the following “I asked al-Rida about the words of Allah. “(Muhammad), tell them, “To be happy with the favors and mercy of God is better than whatever you accumulate.” (10:58) The Imam said, “To acknowledge the Wilaya of the family of Muhammad (s.a.) is better than all that they accumulate of the worldly gains.”
