The Sufficient (Vol 1) · Hadith 1180 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَخِي حَمَّادٍ الْكَاتِبِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله قَالَ قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ سَيِّدَ وُلْدِ آدَمَ فَقَالَ كَانَ وَالله سَيِّدَ مَنْ خَلَقَ الله وَمَا بَرَأَ الله بَرِيَّةً خَيْراً مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه )

1. Muhammad b. Yahya has narrated from Ahmad b. Muhammad from Ibn Fadhal from ‘Abdallah ibn Muhammad, son of the brother of Hammad al-Katib from Al-Husayn b. ‘Abdallah who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdallah , ‘Was the Messenger of Allah the master of the children of Adam?’ The Imam said, ‘By Allah, he was the master of all whom Allah has created. Allah has not created any creature better than Muhammad ﷺ.”
