16ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ يَقُولُ نَحْنُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ إِمَاماً مِنْهُمْ حَسَنٌ وَحُسَيْنٌ ثُمَّ الائِمَّةُ مِنْ وُلْدِ الْحُسَيْنِ (a.s )
16. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn mmd from al-Washsha’ from Aban from Zurara that he heard Abu Ja'far (al-Baqir) say: "We are twelve Imams, al-Hassan and al-Husayn are of them and [the rest of] the Imams are from the descendants of al-Husayn ."
