2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُجَّةَ لا تَقُومُ لله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ إِلا بِإِمَامٍ حَتَّى يُعْرَفَ.

2. Al-Husayn b. Muhammad narrated from Mu‘alla b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Ali al-Washa' who said: "I heard al-Ridha say: 'Allah’s holding people accountable remains unjustified without the Imam who would teach people about Him.'"
