Chapter 71 | Tacit and Explicit Testimony as proof of abu al-Hassan Musa’s Divine Authority over the people after abu ‘Abdallah
12ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ دَعَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الله أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يَوْماً وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذَا فَهُوَ وَالله صَاحِبُكُمْ بَعْدِي.
12. Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from ibn Muskan from Sulayman ibn Khalid who has said the following. “Abu ‘Abdallah one day called abu al-Hassan while we were in his presence and said to us, “You must take hold of this man. He, by Allah, will be your Master after me.”
