Chapter 85 | The case of those who would claim to be the Imam but is not qualified, the case of those who would reject all or some of the Imams and the case of those who argue in support of one who is not a qualified Imam.
5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى أَخِي أُدَيْمٍ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله يَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذَا الامْرَ لا يَدَّعِيهِ غَيْرُ صَاحِبِهِ إِلا بَتَرَ الله عُمُرَهُ.
5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Sinan from Yahya brother of ’daym from al-Walid ibn Subayh who has said the following. “I heard abu ‘Abdallah say, “No one claims this matter (Leadership with Divine Authority) other than one who possesses Divine authority except that Allah will cut his life short.”
