The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1074 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْعَابِدِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخُصُومَةَ فَإِنَّهَا تَشْغَلُ الْقَلْبَ وَتُورِثُ النِّفَاقَ وَتَكْسِبُ الضَّغَائِنَ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from ‘Anbasah al-‘Abid from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Beware of quarreling; it occupies the heart, causes hypocrisy and brings in hatred.”
