Chapter 122 | Envy

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from al-Minqari from al-Fudayl ibn ‘Iyad from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “A believer asks Allah for help but does not envy, and a hypocrite envies, but does not ask Allah for help.”
