The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1247 (#Ḥadīth #19)

19ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ الْمُصْلِحُ لَيْسَ بِكَذَّابٍ.

19. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn Mughirah from Mu’awiyah ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘A reformer (a peace maker) is not a liar.’”
