Chapter 143 | Causing Suffering and Disappointment to Parents (al-‘Uquq)

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Isma’il ibn Mehran from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “If one looks with anger to his parents when they are unjust to him, Allah will not accept any of his prayers.”
