The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1289 (#Ḥadīth #9)

9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَنِ اسْتَذَلَّ مُؤْمِناً وَاسْتَحْقَرَهُ لِقِلَّةِ ذَاتِ يَدِهِ وَلِفَقْرِهِ شَهَرَهُ الله يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلائِقِ.

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain individuals of his people from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Whoever looks down upon a believer or belittles him because of his small resources or poverty, on the Day of Judgment Allah will make (his disgrace) public to all creatures.”
