Chapter 147 | Rebuking People
2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَنْ أَذَاعَ فَاحِشَةً كَانَ كَمُبْتَدِئِهَا وَمَنْ عَيَّرَ مُؤْمِناً بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى يَرْكَبَهُ.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Isma’il ibn ‘Ammar from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Whoever publicizes an indecent act is considered as the initiator of such deed and whoever rebukes a believer for a thing will not die before he himself commits such a thing.’”
