The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1354 (#Ḥadīth #4)

4ـ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَا قَتَلَنَا مَنْ أَذَاعَ حَدِيثَنَا قَتْلَ خَطَإٍ وَلَكِنْ قَتَلَنَا قَتْلَ عَمْدٍ.

4. Yunus ibn Ya’qub has narrated from certain individuals of his people from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Whoever publicizes our (confidential) Hadith is like one who does not kill us by mistake but he does so on purpose.’”
