The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1383 (#Ḥadīth #14)

14ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَنْ قَعَدَ عِنْدَ سَبَّابٍ لأوْلِيَاءِ الله فَقَدْ عَصَى الله تَعَالَى.

14. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Whoever sits with those who abuse the friends of Allah has certainly disobeyed Allah,the Most High.’”
