The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1425 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَنْ أَطَاعَ رَجُلاً فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ فَقَدْ عَبَدَهُ.

8. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from a man from Abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said, ‘Whoever obeys a man in a sin has worshipped him.’”
