Chapter 33 | Fear and Hope

3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ مَنْ خَافَ الله أَخَافَ الله مِنْهُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَخَفِ الله أَخَافَهُ الله مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from al-Hatham ibn Waqid who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah saying, ‘Whoever fears Allah, Allah causes everything to be afraid of him. Whoever does not fear Allah, Allah frightens him from everything.’”
