The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1526 (#Ḥadīth #8)

8ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عِدَّةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا رَفَعُوهُ قَالُوا قَالَ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ دَوَاءٌ وَدَوَاءُ الذُّنُوبِ الإسْتِغْفَارُ.

8. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from a number of our people in a marfu’ manner from him who has said the following: “For everything there is a medicine and the medicine for sins is pleading (before Allah) for forgiveness.”
