Chapter 197 | Interpretation of Sins
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ كَانَ أَبِي (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ نَعُوذُ بِالله مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ الَّتِي تُعَجِّلُ الْفَنَاءَ وَتُقَرِّبُ الآجَالَ وَتُخْلِي الدِّيَارَ وَهِيَ قَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَالْعُقُوقُ وَتَرْكُ الْبِرِّ.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from Ishaq ibn ‘ Ammar who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah saying, ‘My father would say, “We seek refuge in Allah against the sin that hastens one’s perishing, draws death closer, and vacates the towns. Such sins are failing to maintain good relations with relatives, failing to maintain good relations with parents and disregarding virtuous deeds.’”
