The Sufficient (Vol 2) · Hadith 1631 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَلاءِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَلَيْكَ بِالدُّعَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Asbat ibn Slim from al-‘Ala’ ibn Kamil who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah once said to me, ‘You must pray and plead before Allah for help; it is the cure to all diseases.’”
